This course is designed for women, non-binary and trans people experiencing perimenopause, menopause or post menopause. This is a time of change, often accompanied by a range of physical and psychological challenges. We will provide meditation practices enabling us to embrace this time of change by turning towards challenges with awareness, kindness and self-compassion. We will also explore how we can improve our physical and psychological health through simple practices of Qi Gong and Yoga so as to move, sleep and rest well. We will also create a safe and caring environment within which we are able to share our experience.
Research suggests that mindfulness and self-compassion meditation have a role in supporting the psychological adjustments that help us to embrace this time of change and along with Yoga and Qi Gong can improve quality of life through all stages of menopause.
