										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Join us to hear from two recent graduates from the MSc Studies in Mindfuless masters program with the University of Aberdeen who will each present their research in a 15-minute presentation on their thesis and followed by a Q&amp;A .</p>
<p>The research forum will be hosted by Dr Jane Kellock, herself a graduate of the programme.</p>

<p>The forum sessions take place on the second Thursday of each month and each session will run for one hour between 7 and 8 pm online on Zoom.</p>
<p>Each session will be recorded by the Mindfulness Association and uploaded to the research page on the Mindfulness Association website.</p>

We will be hearing from one graduate of the Masters programme, Samantha Bedford who will give a short presentation on her research followed by the opportunity for questions.<br />
Samantha interviewed female leaders to find out if their mindfulness practice impacted their experience of self at work.<br />

<p>The next in the series of research forums hosted by the Mindfulness Association to showcase research from the Masters in Mindfulness Studies programme at the University of Aberdeen is taking place on Thursday 6 June<br />
We hope that you will be interested in attending and invite you to join us on Zoom.</p>
<p>This week we will be hearing from two graduates of the Masters programme,</p>
<p class="p1">We will be hearing from two graduates of the Masters programme, Lisa Bolger Hynes and Martin Kettle who will each give a short presentation on their research followed by the opportunity for questions.</p>
<p class="p1">Lisa used a mixed-method approach to examine the experience of and relationship between work-related stress and compassion in a public sector workplace. Martin focused on the experience of self-compassion in social workers as a protective factor against stress and compassion fatigue using a phenomenological methodology.</p>

<p>The fourth in the series of research forums hosted by the Mindfulness Association to showcase research from the Masters in Mindfulness Studies programme at the University of Aberdeen is taking place on Thursday 9 May.<br />

<p>This week we will be hearing from two graduates of the Masters programme, Cheryl Gooch and JD Walther who will each give a short presentation on their research followed by the opportunity for questions.</p>
<p>JD’s research centres on the mechanisms and processes underlying mindfulness from the perspective of Dynamic Systems Theory. Cheryl looks at the link between mindfulness and safety behaviours, examining the presence and scale of trait mindfulness in health and safety professionals.<br />
