Welcome to Your Annual Members’ Weekend
In a world that constantly demands productivity, optimisation, and fixing, even our mindfulness practice can subtly become another project on our to-do list. We can find ourselves trying to “get it right,” achieve a state of calm, or perform presence—especially if we are teachers holding space for others.
This year’s standalone Spring Members’ Weekend is an invitation to lay down the burden of striving. Together, we will step out of the “doing mode” of trying to alter our experience and step into The Wise Heart—resting in open, natural awareness exactly as things are.
Whether you join us to nourish your personal practice, reconnect with the Sangha, or explore your embodiment as a teacher, this free weekend offers a restorative space to pause, undo, and simply arrive home to yourself.
What We Will Explore Together
Across two days of practice, reflection, and community connection, we will explore:
-
Unpacking the Striving Habit: Recognising subtle efforts to manufacture “good” meditation states.
-
Sinking into Body Wisdom: Moving from mental control to receptive, somatic presence.
-
Resting in Open Awareness: Learning to sit with uncertainty, resistance, and difficulty without needing to “fix” them.
-
Living and Teaching from Being: Bringing authentic, effortless presence into daily life and teaching spaces.
