Finding Meaning through Mindfulness
It is sometimes said that the meaning of life is to live a meaningful life, but that doesn’t exactly give many clues about how to go about that! However, practising showing up to what is present in the moment and meeting what’s there with kindness offers a good start to discovering each for ourselves what is meaningful to us. Of course, Mindfulness means different things for each of us, and plays a different role in each of our lives. For some of us, this might become a central aspect of our lives, and may become the focus of our life’s path. For other people, Mindfulness might help shine a light on what our life paths might be.
Join the tutors of the Mindfulness Association in the autumn Membership Weekend to explore together through reflection, practice and sharing what is of value to you and how to make more space for this in your life. It will be an opportunity to explore what Mindfulness might be for us, with plenty of opportunities to share and learn from other each other’s experience. The weekend will be primarily practice based. We’ll look at values and ethics, at compassion and real- life experience and see what can be learned and enjoyed. We look forward to doing this together!
