Naturally Being Meditation Weekend
Naturally Being Meditation Weekend
Going with the Flow
with Jacky Seery & Mike Pratt
This mindfulness-based meditation weekend is open to anyone with a mindfulness meditation practice who would like to develop confidence in their practice. The weekend will be responsive to the needs of those attending, so that teachings and guided practices will be tailored to the themes that arise within the group through dialogue about practice. There will be a daily practice schedule, with options for movement/walking practice and relaxation/bodyscan practice, as well as sitting practice. We will be offering some optional yoga and qigong practice sessions integrated throughout the weekend, together with a range of mindfulness and compassion practice.
We will literally ‘go with the flow’ and provide an opportunity to take some time out for ourselves to relax and to practice with no agenda or expectation.
Mike Pratt is a guest tutor for this weekend. Mike is the CEO of Northumberland Wildlife Trust, author and Tai Chi Master, and he provides us with a fun and gentle way to integrate nature and movement into our daily lives and way of being.
