Neurodivergent Peer Practice Session
Neurodivergent Peer Practice Group
We are welcoming new members until the end of November.
The Mindfulness Association Neurodivergent Practice Group is an established monthly practice group for neurodivergent mindfulness practitioners who are members of the Mindfulness Association.
The group meets on Zoom on the first Tuesday evening of each month to practise together, reflect together and connect with others who share similar lived experience. An optional WhatsApp group is also available for connection between meetings.
The group is facilitated by Dr Jamie Brown, an experienced BAMBA-accredited mindfulness teacher and supervisor specialising in neuro-affirming practice, and Liezl Laidlaw, a BACP-registered CBT therapist and BAMBA-accredited mindfulness teacher working at the intersection of mindfulness, anxiety and ADHD.
Membership is open to Mindfulness Association members who identify as neurodivergent or have a neurodivergent diagnosis.
The group provides a space for neurodivergent mindfulness practitioners to practise together, connect with one another and draw on shared lived experience within a supportive, well-held and ethically grounded environment.
Whether you’re newly arrived in the Mindfulness Association community or have been practising or teaching for many years, we’d be delighted to welcome you.
The Neurodivergent Practice Group is currently open to new members until the end of November, after which the group will return to a closed membership model to maintain stability and connection.
We will meet online on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
The next dates are:
Tuesday 6 October, Tuesday 3 November, Tuesday 1 December.
