Spring Membership Retreat- For Mindfulness Teachers
Becoming…. A Springtime Retreat for Mindfulness Teachers
1-6 March 2024
Teaching mindfulness can be a profound encounter with presence, if not a daunting one! How we teach often reflects our own personal meditation practice, as well as our own intimate journey and level of engagement with what Mary Oliver calls our one wild and precious life. Our teaching practice is never static, it ebbs and flows and is everchanging.
When we are at the start of our teaching practice, we can take our cues from the voices that influence us- our favourite teachers, the literature that we are reading, even the music that we are listening to! This doesn’t stop as we develop our skills, however, what can change is the confidence to use the voice that whispers from deep within… Or, our own innate wisdom that lies within the heart of our experience.
Whether, you have been teaching mindfulness for a few weeks or for decades, the practice is constantly unfolding, as you are endlessly becoming…
This 5 day Teacher Member retreat will provide the space for silence, reflection, and conversations that can help uncover and encourage the continual ‘becoming’ that guides us as we guide others.
This retreat is open to MA Teacher Members and all qualified mindfulness teachers who are MA Members, to join the MA Membership please click here. We will encompass sessions from the membership weekend beginning on the evening of Friday 1st March and continue from Sunday afternoon until lunchtime on Wednesday 6th March 2024.
Participants wishing to make this their BAMBA CPD retreat are recommended to attend only three teaching sessions over the course of the weekend so as to focus more on practice and to maintain suggested periods of silence in order to meet BAMBA retreat requirements.
