Let’s Sit Together

Join our FREE Daily Online Meditations

with Mindfulness Association Tutors

10:30am to 11:00 am Monday to Friday

7pm – 8pm Every Day

Followed by tea and company

In challenging times, the need for connecting comes to the foreground. Maybe life is still unfolding in its usual way for you, or maybe you’re feeling worried, ill or isolated as a result of the pandemic that is making itself felt across the world.
We at the Mindfulness Association were wondering if and how we could contribute and support during the coming curve of disruption that we may find ourselves in, and felt that a daily moment of connecting might be good medicine.
So for the next while, we’re offering daily online guided meditations lead by one of our tutors from 10:30-10.50 am Monday to Friday and every day at 7-7.30pm, followed by the opportunity to have a chat over a cuppa together. This will include the Christmas and New Year periods.
Do join us, any or every day for a nourishing practice and the sense of connection and togetherness, whatever else is happening!  We have a growing community of like-minded people who have become virtual friends.  Please do join us – everyone is welcome.

Safety Information

We are offering these practices with the intention of supporting you in your daily practice and co-creating a space for connection with self and others. We hope they are of benefit to you!

Mindfulness is proven to be beneficial for mental health and wellbeing in the right circumstances, but please note these mindfulness practice sessions are not a treatment for mental health problems or addiction

If you have recently received or are currently receiving treatment from a psychiatrist, psychotherapist or counsellor for an ongoing mental health problem, we strongly advise that you obtain advice from your mental health professional before proceeding further with these practice sessions at this time. Also, if you have recently or are currently going through a traumatic life event such as a separation from a long term partner, the death of a close family member or friend or redundancy, this may or may not be the best time for you to continue with these practice sessions. This very much depends on where you are at in your practice journey, your current psychological health and the support networks that you have around you, such as friends, family and mental health professionals.

If you are currently taking medication for a mental health condition, then we recommend that you do not change your medication, other than in close collaboration with your medication prescriber.

If any of these circumstances apply to you, then we recommend, that if you have not done so already, you contact one of our tutors to discuss your situation and the support networks you have in place and to explore how best to proceed with your mindfulness practice.

The Mindfulness Association is an inclusive organisation and we welcome people of all ages, genders (including gender identification), sexual orientation, abilities, race (including colour, nationality and ethnic or national origin) and religion or belief. Please contact Kristine via info@mindfulnessassociation.net if you have any concerns or experiences of exclusion during the practice sessions.

The Everyone Project

The MA tutor team lead the daily sits on a voluntary basis. If you find the sits beneficial and if you are able to, the tutor team would be delighted if you could make a donation to the Everyone Project. In this way we can all continue to support each other through the benefit of mindfulness. Just £5 will pay for one session of the Mindfulness Based Living Course to be delivered to one person.

See www.everyoneproject.org for more information about our work. Thank you!

You can donate using the button below. In order for the Everyone Project to benefit from Gift Aid, please login to your PayPal account to opt in to the Gift Aid scheme
