Mindfulness meets Qigong as these two ancient arts are combined into one course over three levels.
The first level incorporates Mindfulness and Qigong – beginning to explore and deepen our awareness of the body through Qigong sequences and Mindfulness practice
The second level brings Compassion practices into the Qigong movement as we explore attitude and taking care of the body, drawn from the 8 Limbs of Yoga – Ahimsa – non harming.
The third level explores Insight practices drawn from the Insight Level 3 training – combined with Qigong as we explore the Yin and Yang styles of energy in the movement and deepen our sitting practice with focus on energy and softening and releasing stuck emotions.
Each course runs from 7-9pm on a Tuesday evening for 5 sessions.
